Oh, this was surprising. I thought it was a slightly uncomfortable, dusty read, just as a lot of books from the classics shelf are. But this was fun, sarcastic, with a modern-like pace and very likeable characters. I didn't see that coming. Mr. Bennet definitely is my favourite character. And despite having seen the movie once (well, one of them), I really feared for it not to turn out "right".
