I liked this one, although like his first book, Zombie Spaceship Wasteland, it's awfully short. Aside from its role as a personal history of a unique harmful addiction (and he's only partly joking about that ... his obsession with midnight movies cost him a job and a girl), this book is a great travelogue to local Los Angeles movie palaces, and most are still there! A good start to my Year of Books on Film.
