Review of 'The return of depression economics and the crisis of 2008' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
Krugman provides a clear, high-level view of macroeconimcs, and discusses what caused the current crisis, how it related to previous crises, and what we should have learned from them.
He discusses complex economic theory very well, often referring to an excellent example of baby sitters and sitting coupons. A simplified, concrete example helps make things like currency exchanges and various kinds of recessions easily understood. Very good read.
