What continues to make this book relevant is its application to modern times. Replace all references to government, The Party, IngSoc, etc. with Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Google and other social media sites and you have today's society.
We are being watched. Not by Big Brother, but by Big Tech. And we let this happen without thinking about it.
