Great book, excellent story, wonderful characters. However, there was a bit more than an homage to Starship Troopers, which distracted me from the story, and Card's denial seems a bit disingenuous when he seems to make a living accusing other authors of the same thing. He accused J.K. Rowling of stealing from him, and he also accused M. Night Shyamalan of the same thing.
