I am not sure what Adam Savage tried to do with this book. Half anecdotes, half lecture how to be a successful maker and a little bit of biography sprinkled in between. The result is a book that is a bit confusing to read for me. The writing style is really great. If he would have focused on beeing one book and not a mix of those two, it would have been an really amazing read.
