This book was a good quick mindless read, it has an "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" told from the other side feel.

If you have read the Twilight series the story will feel immediately comfortable and familiar. The ending is a little to trite and touchy-feely / happy for my taste, and the story line didn't have the same wonderful fascination of [b:Breaking Dawn|1162543|Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, Book 4)|Stephenie Meyer|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/416pfGGLM0L.SL75.jpg|2960529]. This could have been the lack of buildup of the main character or that I am just more interested in how vampires work than alien parasites.

It is a nice rainy Sunday book.
