I went into this book thinking I was going to read something fantasy, and ended up with something completely different. I don't fault the author, I just didn't expect the story I got. I liked the characters, they were well developed. The ending was bit contrived, in my opinion, and of all the characters the main woman was the least developed. It wasn't a bad book, it just wasn't good .
