I am 42 years old and I've never read a fanfic. I've just always been afraid that if I ever did I would lose track of what was "real" so I've always just avoided it all. Plus I felt like the writing would be subpar. However, I saw a Dramione fanart on Instagram and at first I was like what the hell is a Dramione, but then when I read the comments I was so intrigued I couldn't resist finding Manacled and devouring it. It's so freaking good, the pairing itself makes more sense than Ron and Hermione ever did, but overall it's just so well-written I am rethinking all my ideas about fanfic. I absolutely love this.
