Great book! A bit overwhelming with the amount of people named - I am not sure every single side tangent needed to name drop someone and then go into their story but it does really portray how many people Holmes affected with her dubious "invention". Also puts a lens to how connected rich people are and how petty they will be over the smallest of things.

Loved it. I definitely agree with other posters about the weird sewer orgy thing happening being completely unnecessary and weird but minus that, what a wonderful experience.

I tried to get through it, despite hating the main character but I couldn't bring myself to trudge through the typical "bad boy/girl" copganda that is prevalent every single page. The tropes were persistent and boring.
Apparently this is from an entirely series, no thank you.
