I was in a class on Children's Literature when I first heard about this book. We were talking about how the books that we read especially as a child forms the person that we are. A girl that argued with me often in that class mentioned this book. I realize now that I was intimidated by this person who was so unlike myself.

This book is so unlike myself and not one that I will let form me. In fact, I am going to try to forget it like any other nightmare.

I should have known but was being rebellious against my own identity by reading it. Lesson learned again for a little while at least.
