Eden110 started reading Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish by Xue Shan Fei Hu

Love to read M/M (and its various flavors, such as BL, danmei, etc.)
When I'm not itching for romance, I tend to gravitate towards science fiction/space operas.

This book was what I was hoping for. A good police procedural with interesting leads. Both Xie Lanshang and Shen Liufei are characters that demand the reader's attention - not only are they interesting as individuals, but there is a lot of mystery to be learned about them.
I also want to comment about how well the translation was handled. The book read very fluidly.
To be honest, I was thinking of dropping this series. The first book was a bit slow for me. I was hoping things would pick up in the second book. It did get more interesting in the last 1/3 of the book. Overall, still a light read with low angst.
