I think I gotta make peace that her style of writing doesn't quite suit my interest. Again a very dreamy book, going from past to present, and supernatural beings included who capitalise on people's desire for beauty, the vanity, and use their bodies? Didn't quite get the final goal of the jellyfish like bobbles in the water. I suppose the whole idea of extent of beauty routine, acid, cleansing, protecting and using god knows how many products all the time, hiding from the sun, the routine and restrictions, that seemed like a whole different world itself, together with the Seth in the mirror and naivety of the girl was just a bit much.
