This piece of fantasy literature about witches, vampires and demons was an interesting novel piece to me. It built this world quite well and a good range of characters, however, I am always put off with the weight of a centrepiece relationship has in a fantastical book. I also felt there was a fair bit of filler. The book is already on the longer side and it inced forward in the storyline. Also put off with the continuous lying and hiding the truth from each other and the drama that came with it. It felt a bit hazy as the plot kept changing its course in a way you did not anticipate and thus it went on and on.
I definitely enjoyed most of it though, and motivation only started to waiver in the end. Will continue but brace myself to an even longer telling.
