Review of 'Miranda in Milan' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

This is the first of the In Our Own Worlds "LGBTQ main characters" collection Tor gave away for free earlier this month. I really enjoyed it! It's a "sequel" to Shakespeare's The Tempest which I'd never read before, but I googled a summary and was good to go. I think its short length helps it keep a welcomed quick pace, the characters are interesting, it's its own thing without having to read more than a summary of its "prequel", and the romance aspects are well written. I thought the conflict and resolution were pretty decent with some dark turns and events within.
