Better than the original

I liked this more than Foundation, but it’s still difficult to read old science fiction. It’s just not written as I would expect, like when the war is ended completely off screen in the first part.. But, this book is very good and the ending is superb, even if you do see the “twist” coming from a mile away.

He's not a super genius

This book is very good and does a great job showing how Israel Keyes was caught by law enforcement. It also goes into great detail on how the same law enforcement completely screwed up the case after he was caught. Overall, this is a good book, but I'm not a fan of how Keyes is portrayed as some kind of genius serial killer along the lines of Hannibal Lector. He wasn't a genius and he's not a movie villain. He was a dumb loser with grandiose delusions.
