Either I have outgrown vampire stories (which I don't think has happened cos I love [b:We Are Toten Herzen|22416639|We Are Toten Herzen (Totenseries, #1)|Chris Harrison|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1420255433s/22416639.jpg|27475127] series) or Anne Rice has lost it. So far this series has been good, some of the best literary vampires and some brilliant writing. Her vampires love their stories and so far that has worked as you know of the vampires from previous books, Blackwood Farm however features a new character, Quinn Blackwood and for over 600 very long and very dull pages we get to hear his story. None of the figures in the story are interesting and I spend most of my time cringing at how creepy they are, is it normal for a male to have a older female sleeping in his bed until he reaches his 20's? Should he be kissing his elderly aunt's feet?

This book features some of Anne Rice's erotic fiction, previous books luckily have managed to avoid this....what's that? You want a road sign to depict the level of eroticism? ok.....

I have no idea how I made it to the end. This could possibly be the end of the Anne Rice ride for me. Avoid this.
