woohoo I made it to the end. I have always thought that this series should have ended as a trilogy, but when it kept going things just got silly at times. The writing is good and overall I did enjoy reading this book but there was just too much filler. The story was very slow and it felt like not much was really happening until I was about 70% through when things picked up and it things were suddenly as good as the first books. Then the story ends and it was a good ending, but for some reason things get dragged out for another pages, it did feel like an epic Oscar winning death scene.

If this book was 200-300 pages shorter it would have got more stars from me.

Things aren't over yet though, I still have some more Bane books to read, the infernal devices and more to come I expect.
