Quite possibly one of the most infuriating "feminist" books I've ever read. Granted, it's dated, but in 814 pages Beauvoir spewed nothing but contempt and disdain for the very people she was in theory defending. It was exhausting reading this. 

The chapter "The Lesbian" was actually quite funny, though obviously not intentionally.
