Ugh...my copy does NOT have the movie on the cover. Even though the LOTR is my favorite film series, this still annoys me to no end.

Back to the book-this was a lot slower going than I remember. I think I really did skim over some of the longer-winded parts. Still love Tom Bombadil, though!

This was so fun. A group of women assassins in their 60s are enjoying a retirement cruise when they realize their company is trying to kill them off. Sort of like Red, but with women. Absolutely wonderful. We need more books like this.

Sometimes this got a bit too slow, and I'll be honest I didn't care much about the ballistics chapter (I think I may have skimmed a bit there). But otherwise this was really fascinating. And made me want to do a deep dive into Agatha Christie's entire bibliography.
