Review of 'Isla and the Happily Ever After' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

Stephanie Perkins is a writing Wonder Woman. I don't know how she is doing it: describing the most normal scenarios but you are so caught and feeling with the character.
I really loved "Anna and the French kiss" and I'm still not over "Lola and the boy next door" so it was no question that I had to read Isla's story as well. And again, after reading the first page I couldn't stop. Isla and Josh are great characters. You fall for them, like they fall for each other. BUT (yeah there is a but this time), I lost a bit of the connection in the middle part with the, let's say not-so-comprehensible action from Isla. The end was good but I wasn't the same as with Anna or Lola. A propos, both you will meet again in this book - omg I was squeeing!
So all in all it is a must read! I loved it very much and could read it again instantly. Anna I liked a bit more and Lola will always be my number one :)
