For those who think that they don't need to read the books because they watched the movies,
you are wrong, this book reveals so much more than the movie did, would that be the travels the hobbits did from Hobbiton to Bree, which is vastly different and much more prolonged in the books, or the stay at Bree, Rivendell and Lothlorien which help discover many traits of the members of the Company. (I mean Aragorn and Frodo are pretty different when compared with the movies)
