Review of '250 Things You Should Know About Writing' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
Although not unproblematic, Wendig's advice for writers is sound, profane, and occasionally profound. It does at times read rather like a drunken creative writing teacher yelling at the bar about their terrible students - whether you count that as a benefit or a drawback will largely determine how much you enjoy this book. It walks the line between offensive and usefully humorous, frequently lurching to one side or the other, but never straying far from the next bit of useful advice.
