Kim Harrison: Every which way but dead (2005, HarperTorch)

There's no witch in Cincinnati tougher, sexier, or more screwed up than bounty hunter Rachel …

Review of 'Every which way but dead' on 'Goodreads'

This was the book that finally made me search the internet to find out what happens with the Rachel/Ivy relationship. This was the thing that made me stick with the first two books - they were just so tender and charged with premonition. Then there was a line that said something to the effect of "they would never be more than friends" and I was so disappointed I stopped reading this book around the 15% mark. I may come back to this later and amend my review, but I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic, and none of the other characters do much for me.
