I know I have become invested in a series or a character when I curse unexpected plot twists. Up to this point the series has been fun, humorous, a little innovative, but not as exciting as I would like -
while still being an enjoyable read from start to finish. This book took a few odd turns as I was reading - things that I did not like as much as the general tone of the earlier books - but the ending more than made up for it.
