It took nearly a year to read, and I'm still not sure I get it. It might help if you have engaged in wanton debauchery of the most horrific sort just to get a frame of reference, or perhaps this is meant to substitute for the lifetime of hedonistic devotion required to experience the trip contained in these pages.

The descriptions range from beautiful to stomach churning revulsion. I am tempted to rate this 5/5 for the sentences that seem transcendent, but 0/5 for the passages that made me put the book down for weeks or months at a time. In the end, 3/5 represents the average of epiphany and faeces leaping from this book.
