Review of 'The White Lioness' on 'Goodreads'

I usually like all Wallander books, and this one was still good enough to finish, but it was riddled with d'oh moments, bumbling cops, and some poor decisions on Wallander's part.
Maybe Swedes are a bit more trusting than Americans, and less rule-bound, but why did he let a hired assassin with dubious credentials stay in his apartment? And the villains, they were not very effectual, though admittedly great at being evil. Despite some incredulous moments, I finished every last word.
