The fat, pompous, hilarious, indolent and ever-farting Ignatious Riley will live long in my heart. Confederacy of Dunces is one of the most clever, well-wrought brilliant pieces of comedy I have ever had the privilege of reading. I LOLed dozens of times, and despite some un-PC aspects that left me a little uncomfortable, i would have to call this one of the best books I have read in years.
