The Eyre Affair

Great Britain circa 1985: time travel is routine, cloning is a reality …

Review of 'The Eyre affair' on 'Goodreads'

3 stars

This delightful, odd and original book was full of humor and literary outlandishness. The plot was uniquely wrought from romance, sci-fi and mystery though it doesn't fit into any of those genres well.
I would have preferred more intense characters, but the best thing about the book is that is funny and thumbs up for book lovers- especially Jane Eyre lovers- and anyone who appreciates that British knack for understatement.
