I am now officially a Louise Penny fan. I do not like her because her stories are creepy, though she is fabulous at creating vivid scenes that make you long with all your heart for a warm fire and a croissant with a Canadian winter outside. What I noticed this time, that I had overlooked last time, is how original, descriptive and captivating her writing is. She has fantastic sentences, and is exceptionally adept as a writer, especially a mystery writer. It is easy to tell that she loves literature AND mysteries. I am going to keep trucking through this series.
