I heard a recommendation for this book/series and within a few days found myself reading it, skipping the the top of the long list of books I have. I'm glad i picked it up straight away.

Living deep below the surface of Mars, Darrow is content living his hard but simple life. His wife shows him a glimpse of a reality he doesn't understand that hints that the world is a lot different than he has been led to believe. A horrific tragedy sets him on a path to fight for the freedom of his people.
