I don't really know what I expected in this 'the final book' of the Expanse series. Whatever it was, this wrap-up novel was a bit disappointing. The novel is not bad, but it lacked the energy of the earlier volumes. The finale does wrap things up rather well, for that I'm thankful. The series has been a true joy to read. Quite the adventure.
