Broad thoughts on The Dresden files, in response to a post over on Mastodon: Dresden is a chauvinistic asshole at times but I love the worldbuilding, other characters and long running plot threads in this series!
@pbarker I haven't imported all of my books in yet, but I have read the series and have similar opinions to yours. It was really difficult for me to get into The Dresden Files at first despite multiple attempts by my best friend to get me to read them. Finally, I borrowed the audiobook of the first one from the library and that did it for me. James Marsters does a fantastic job narrating the series and has made The Dresden Files such a great read.
@Melisondra I'm listening to the audiobooks myself. James is excellent, I love all his voices! The voice for Toot-Toot always gives me a little laugh as well.
I have so many books to add myself as well. It will take a while to add a really representative selection of books I've read. I have lots of Sci-Fi & Fantasy to add!
