I actually didn’t finish this. Probably because I read it at the wrong time. Heading into with the announcement of a second trump presidency it was too much bleak news. Undoubtedly great writing and great messaging about how the left ignores issues at its peril. We’ve seen the same in the U.K. with the rise of the reform party and the polarisation of politics here too. I borrowed this from the library and couldn’t renew it as someone else wanted to borrow it. For me I feel that if I’d had it as a book I owned I would have finished it by dipping in and out. I may finish it as an audiobook.
