After an introduction into the art itself (that's probably better suited as a quick refresher for established artists who haven't been inking in a while), the main part of the book presents four pencil pages by Steve Rude, each followed by inks done by Martin and some guest artists who describe what they did and how they did it. This part allows an insight that's never before been achieved by any similar book on the market. To round it off, the back contains one of the pencil pages in blue on original-art-size Bristol board for the aspiring inker to try his or her own luck.
