Absolutely Love This Book

What an incredible journey this book was! Filled with delightful prose, beautifully abstract concepts, and a deep, heartfelt tale of two warring lovers across time. If you love sci-fi, romance, and abstract storytelling you'll love this!

Tough First Entry

Honestly, if I wasn't told that the Dresden File books get good, I wouldn't believe it after reading this. It's difficult to get through, filled with sexist overtones and waaaaay too horny for its own good. I have no problem with adult content, but when its presented in an immature way it's hard to not cringe. It gets better at the end, but definitely didn't do a good job selling me on this world or this character.

Amazing Fantasy Book!

Sanderson does an amazing job building the world of Roshar and establishing well rounded and thought out characters. An absolutely incredible first entry into the series, it had me hooked by the end of the first chapter. Definitely pick this up, if you're a fan of fantasy you wont regret it!
