Beatriz Williams: A Certain Age: A Novel (2016, William Morrow) 3 stars

Review of 'A Certain Age: A Novel' on 'Goodreads'

3 stars

The only reason this book gets a three star rating is because I honestly couldn't stand one of the characters in this book. I didn't let it stop me from finishing the book, of course, because the storyline was pretty captivating. Imagine a 40 something woman that's cheating on her husband with someone 20 years younger than her. She doesn't even call the guy by his name. He's just Boyo. Yeah, that's the character I didn't much like.
Sophie however, I liked quite a lot, and her part of the story was really what kept me going in this book. I also really enjoyed Beatriz Williams's way with words. She's pretty eloquent in her writing, in my opinion.
