This was my first book by the author. I found it to be a good creepy read.i enjoyed it,with the book alternating between the past and present. I would certainly read more books by the author and if you're someone that likes creepy ,ghost stories, then this is one to read

5 stars

It's been a while since I have read a James Patterson book. This one has supernatural, mystery, intrigue to it. I couldn't figure out exactly what the black widow was as a supernatural character, but the story has me spell bound.
I borrowed this one from the library

5 stars

I enjoyed this book. It has quite a few pages to it, so I found it surprising it only took me a few days to read it.
I found the characters, the ladies especially, well liked for me anyway.
I don't know much about midwives, but I found this book interesting and the history with it, the first war, The Halifax explosion, etc.
I would certainly read more books like this again, and more by the author. It was well written to me

Review of 'Prodigal Mother' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

This was a good book. It was veryfast paced. One mother lost her son 5 years ago, a stranger says he is alive, can prove it. But do u trust her?
Another is in the clutches of a very controlling husband, with a son she knows and feels isn't hers.
I felt empathy for both these ladies in this book.
I am glad it all ended as it did, although the ending was almost a cliffhanger to me. I enjoyed the book and really like the author's writing. This is a good physiological thriller.

I voluntarily reviewed this book through Bloodhounds.
I found it to be a bit slow at first, but as the book goes on, the pace picks up.
Its about a mom having a hard time letting go of her daughter as she heads to college, and keeping tabs on her via an app. Theres more to the story too, but I don't want to develge anymore. It deals with grief , mental illness but all comes together.
I highly recommend reading it.
