Review of 'Feverborn' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

I started this book, got irritated with Jada and had to put it down. I picked it up again and found myself miffed over something else and put it back down. Rinse and repeat that cycle about two more times and I finally -- finally (and about 4 books in between) finished it.

All that said, I absolutely loved this book, it was a little slow at first, but the ending kind of make it worth it. A good bit is revealed about some characters, Jada, in particular. (Which might of been part of the reason why I did not rush back to it, I have a unique love/hate for Jada/Dani.) The Nine remain as mysterious as ever and Mac has even more to deal with, namely a sister that might not be as dead as she thought. Ehhh.. sure, it was frustrating as heck, but that's because I'm invested into these characters and sometimes, they drive me batty.
