A decent book, I recommend it to anyone who's a fan of LOTR series. But it's clearly a children's book, so to anyone new to the LOTR universe I would recommend reading this first because once you read LOTR this book feels like a step down in terms of complexity, writing style and the overall feel. It's still enjoyable but not up to par if you read LOTR first as I did.
