Das Buch handelt über die Linie der Stoa CEO‘s der Antike und das chronologisch mit selbst erfundenen Spitznamen für jeden von ihnen. Das Ganze so auszuschmücken, wie es Drehbuchautoren für Hollywood nicht besser hätten machen können, passt zu modernen Stoikern. 1. Profit 2. möglichst gut Ausharren ohne Denken, Angst und Gewissen 3. erstmal alles aussitzen und Leute durch Laberei kurzzeitig ruhig zu stellen. Warum wohl fehlen zu den ganzen Geschichten über die Personen komplett die Quellenangaben….? Ich weiß nicht unter welcher Rubrik man das Buch einordnen soll. Scharlatanerie Literatur? The book is about the lineage of Stoa CEO's of antiquity and does so chronologically with self-invented nicknames for each of them. To embellish the whole thing in a way that screenwriters for Hollywood could not have done better suits modern stoics. 1. profit 2. to hold out as well as possible without thinking, fear and conscience 3. to sit everything out for the time being and to keep people quiet for a short time by babbling. Why probably to the whole stories about the persons completely the source references are missing....? I do not know under which category one should classify the book. Charlatanerie literature? That something like this is allowed on the market is already bad, but that it becomes a bestseller is probably only possible in the USA.
