My early years living in exotic countries and now I dwell in the quiet vastness of the desert. I’m drawn to books that open hidden doorways — travelogues that map both place and spirit, utopias and anarchist visions that imagine freer worlds, speculative fiction that bends reality, and biographies that breathe life into history. Reading, for me, is a way to wander further, even when the horizon is dust and sky.

This is one of the best books that I have read on the subject. It's really entertaining, has a great story and a lot of good sexual information too. It's just a fun read! I highly recommend his other book Sapo In My Soul.

An amazing book! I'm sitting here near the Amazon in Peru, and I can identify with the culture and can sense the adventure in the story. I'm actually reading another book River of Darkness at the same time. One book is about the last Amazonian tribes and the other book is about the first Amazonian tribes before all the horrible things happened. Both fantastic books
