I’m very disappointed with this book. I found the plot boring and predictable, the characters the most uninteresting I’ve encountered in a book in a long time.
I’ll be honest and say the Bigfoot is not my favorite theme either but I really thought it would be told in a more engaging manner. The original concept was interesting but it wasn’t well developed imo.

I enjoyed World War Z a lot because of the interview format and multiple points of view but here all falls flat. The diary format should have been great but I never empathized with any of the characters, most of all the main character, so it was very hard for me to care about their future.
The interview fragments throughout the book didn’t add anything worthwhile and only distracted from the plot.

This was a chore to read and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who is not a Bigfoot fan thirsting for new content.
