By continuing reading I feel it is less and less appropriate for the IT industry. But that's true for most management/consulting books isn't it?

The focus here was clearly in global players. Not what I'm interested in.

Completed the rundown on process analysis. This chapter confuses project management terms with similar in IT which makes it hard in communication. I wish some elements would have been more detailed.

Started a new chapter and finished the first chapter. I have a better understanding now how traditional hierarchies are organised. I still not like this way of organising teams.

Another section in the book. Creativity and consolidation of information under my belt.

Yay, reached another section in the book!

Was evaluated today. I uncovered knowledge gaps for me.

The first two chapters were a breeze. Now I have about a hundred pages of scratching different tools and procedures. Some of them I've heard of before.

This book is a little over my level of expertise right now but it helps me already seeing the overarching picture: how do different methods play into each other.

Picked that book as an alternative to staring at a screen.

In the context of my qualification to become an IT Specialist I want to read this book (or at least parts of it) to fill gaps in my knowledge. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Germany is a little behind the curve at times.
