Review of "The Pope's daughter" on 'Goodreads'

Somewhat less original than most of his work, a story of woman from an important family surviving her status as a chattel and creating a place for herself within her society. Still, Fo is such an amazing writer that this, somewhat banal by now, story is really fun to read.
