meh. skimmed over pages and pages of boring narrative. actually disliked one of the MC's which made investing in them as a couple impossible. was a struggle to even finish. would not recommend.

release delayed an entire year...Apr 25, 2023 to Apr 16, 2024 returnreturnwill likely dustbin this series since two years between series books is not acceptable for me. unfortunate because I really liked the first book and was looking forward to the second in a couple months. also another reason I need to do better about avoiding traditionally published authors...their time to market is abominable.
