The book itself is fine but it's late. If someone is completely disconnected from politics during 2016 to 2023, this is a great summary of what happened. But by the time this came out, momentum had already shifted away from DEI and critical race theory.

The author began the book in 2016. My wish is that this was two books. I believe that would have resulted in two 5 star books. Unfortunately, the author got delayed and showed up late to the party. I hope their next book is 300 pages long and is on the cusp of the next cultural change, instead of coming out late enough to feel like a summary.
