Ally Wilkes: All the White Spaces (Paperback, Titan Books)

In the wake of the First World War, Jonathan Morgan stows away on an Antarctic …

"Sometimes the South just takes a man."

This was a page-turner, creepy and brutal, with some unexpected twists. The book left a few things unanswered, but not in a way that was frustrating or unbelievable to me. One of the better horror novels I've read lately, would recommend.

CW: fire, illness/death, amputation, medical procedures, blood/gore, animal death, violence, suicide/murder, descriptions of war/combat, PTSD, loss/grief.
