This book is good, but at times it feels like it tries to do too much by incorporating the tropes of other books all in one at times. You never really feel bad for Oliver or the rest of the characters in the book, but I think that's intentional.
If you want a thrill of a splatter punk book, this one is good. It had moments when I winced at the description between Oliver and his wife. You'll know what I mean when you read that.
