I wasn't sure I would enjoy this book as much as I did. Initially, I didn't like the main character very much, but once I was 4 or 5 chapters into it, I couldn't put the book down. It's a suspense novel or thriller I guess? No murder per se (I think), but very suspenseful like a good mystery novel should be, with some dark academia elements and a dash of Korean-American cultural perspective. Enjoyable read.

I always very much enjoy Jane Harper's books, and this one was no exception. I had my suspicions of who the killer was, but I was dead wrong. Oh well! Enjoyable read.
